Willow Tree is an intimate, personal line of hand carved sculptures. Each represents a quality or sentiment that helps us feel close to others, heal wounds, or treasure relationships to living things. Expression is revealed through gestures only… a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. Each piece is cast from the artist’s (Susan Lordi) original carving and then painted by hand. Susan says, “I try to keep the interpretation of Willow Tree open. I hope this makes it more personal, and allows the viewer to decide its meaning.” Susan Lordi
